Don't stop even though its raining. It might be hard to get out but you are not going to melt!
I have just finished reading Laura Trott & Jason Kennys autobiography. Wow what a summer they had last year, an inspiring read.! Laura becoming Great Britains most decorated female Olympian with four gold medals. Jason has won more Olympic golds than any British athlete, with six from the last three Games. As per usual I will just give a couple of little tasters.....
Laura discusses about it all happening to her and why me? She takes it back to something so simple!! 'Be the best you can. Her parents advice was 'find something you are good at and enjoy doing!'.
Not only that but the olympic mentality they used was: 'examine everything you do, stop at nothing to make it even better.'
Jason Kenny talks a lot about nerves and how he just does not have them. He feels they are a waste of energy and need to channel it into better energies!!
Jason also talks about momentum. 'You want to build momentum, because so much of success in sport is about momentum. Belief flows from that. Confidence to ride the way you should confidence to the on those men who have been winning while you are down, and dictate to them the way a big showdown will go.'
So looking at that don't let a niggle or injury stop you from doing something you want to do. Get in touch to see if I can help.
Today I received my Physiotherapy magazine Frontline.....

An interesting read one of the articles...'Physios told to remove the 'nonsense from usual care for back pain to empower patients'. Are you suffering from back pain? Get in touch..
