Make no bones or muscles or tendons about it: start running, and there’s a good chance injury may follow. Some estimate that nearly 80 percent of runners are injured each year. They don’t tell you that before joining the running bug! Most injuries are caused by overuse—applying repeated force over a prolonged period of time. Sudden changes in training volume, whether a newbie or a vet, can also do some damage. Here are a few of the most common ailments that plague those who hit the road.

Runners knee, achilles tendinitis, plantar fasciitis, shin splints, iliotibial band syndrome, stress fracture to name a few. Physio can help to diagnose and help to prevent all these.

Do you think physio could help you keep running, if not running help you get moving or start a new hobby then get in touch!!

Running is one hobby thats really important to me. Last week I was lucky enough to run up to Arthurs Seat in Edinbrugh. Here I was at the top!!
